The pond offers a serene spot for reflection and also attracts birds, turtles and other wildlife.   Facing the pond, the Tom Booth Bench memorializes the local activist who spearheaded the effort to preserve Jackson Woods.  A surrounding garden offers seasonal color.

Summer heat recently brought with it an algae formation on the surface of the pond.  An effort to begin regular water quality monitoring is beginning in Spring 2022.
