Haunted Bridge

One of the most famous attractions of its time, the Haunted Mansion was located at the end of the Amusement Pier near where Pier Village stands today.   The mansion opened in the summer of 1978 and attracted large crowds.

 

On June 8, 1987 a horrible fire broke out on the Long Branch Pier following a gas leak and electrical fire. The pier was engulfed in flames and many attractions were destroyed including the 10,000 square foot Haunted Mansion.
